Synopsis

WEREWOLF MOON Batman is informed that a young girl called Angela Lupus is dying and needs an immediate bone marrow transplant from her brother, but the only problem is that Angela's brother is none other than Anthony Lupus, the former athlete who was transformed into a Werewolf thanks to Professor Milo. Commissioner Gordon tells Batman that a man called Anthony Lupus has been spotted in Alaska, but Batman is not sure if it would be the same person, as Lupus was apparently killed during his first encounter with Batman. After ashaming Mayoral candidate Arthur Reeves in front of the press, Batman makes arrangements for a trip to Alaska.  In the cold north, Bruce Wayne meets with the president of an environmental agency, who has been trying to contact Anthony Lupus. Bruce requests the man's assistance and guidance in the hostile lands of Alaska and the man agrees to join Bruce on his quest for Lupus. Using a helicopter, Bruce and the man arrive at the distant hut of Lupus, in the middle of nowhere. The two men go inside and hours pass until twilight comes, when suddenly the Werewolf appears and attacks them. Bruce manages to close the door and windows and prevent the monster from breaking inside. At dawn, Bruce and the other man are safe to go outside, but the latter decides to leave Bruce alone to keep on his quest for Lupus.  Without interference, Bruce goes into action as Batman and prepares a trap for the werewolf. Once again, when night comes, Batman is ready, but his trap captures a real wolf and he is then attacked by the werewolf. Batman makes the monster chase him to the Alaskan pipeline, where Batman gains the upper hand due to the environment. Using the man-made structure, Batman knocks the werewolf unconscious and traps the monster in a special net until the sun comes up and Lupus returns to his normal form. Batman then explains the situation of her sister and he also tells Lupus that is time for him to return to Gotham. Afraid from what might happen to him and others, Lupus refuses to go, but Batman gives him no choice and tells him that he will actively work to find a cure for his problem. HUNT FOR A HUNCHBACK KILLER Batgirl is on the hunt for the "hunchback killer", who has been terrorizing women around Gotham City, but she fails to capture the crazed maniac. Batgirl then decides to apologize to Jeff Cotton, the man who Barbara trusts her Batcycle, for the troubles caused by Dr. Voodoo and she reveals her identity to him.   The next night and after a normal day at work, Batgirl gives one more try at capturing the hunchback killer and her plan to lure the maniac into action works. Unfortunately, when Batgirl uses a sleeping gas pellet from her Utility Belt, she is attacked by the killer and she is unable to put on her nose filters, causing her to inhale the gas and fall unconscious in a dark alley along with the murdering maniac.
